Kids grow up fast. Blink, blink… they’re grown. After 10 years of photographing families, I’m realizing that the teen years are a thing. It’s like, we photograph first birthday’s, and the pre-school years. Then elementary school is a blur, but at least you can rely on a school photo (also, don’t get me started there). Then they hit the tween & teen years. They straight up refuse to be photographed OR you get the dreaded fake smile. But don’t stress. I have a solution.
The Teen Years Mini Sessions. The exact amount of time needed to get some milestone pics of your tween/teen. Real smiles because, let’s face it, I’m funny. AND the pics are so good, you might even see them end up on your tween/teen’s social media accounts (because you know they love a good profile pic). You can add on a few family pics too – everyone gets in for an updated family photo! It’s a win/win for everyone.
FAQ’s:
How much? The Teen Years Mini Sessions are $99 for just tweens/teens and $150 if you add on the family photo. You receive your edited digital files (no additional cost!) via download.
How long are the sessions? The Minis are 15 minutes, the family add-on is an additional 10 minutes.
Where will they take place? I’m shooting on-location in Pittsburgh starting in February (booking through April). We’ll work around chilly temps and truthfully, it’s a great time of year for layers and styled looks (happy to help with planning!).
What if my tween/teen won’t smile? Tell them I’ll bring my best material and maybe a bribe or two. Seriously though, tell them they can text me some inspiration photos and we’ll be sure to get a great VSCO or Insta worthy pic for them to share.
