Answers to most commonly asked questions are below!

How much is a portrait session and what does it include?
A portrait session is $400 and includes a 45 minute on-location shoot. You receive edited digital images (via on-line gallery – click, save, you’re done!) and reproduction rights are included (you print what you want, when you want and how you want).

Senior and newborn sessions are $500, typically 1 – 1.5 hours and are on-location for seniors/in-the-home for newborns.

I also offer Mini Sessions a handful of times a year (spring, summer, fall, holidays). Mini sessions are announced via social media and on the website. They book quickly and are a great fit for updating family photos, trying pics for the first time or celebrating a milestone or holiday.

Where do sessions take place?
Great question!  The answer is just about anywhere – that is the beauty of on-location photography.  A local park or some hidden gems around the city, your home or your backyard – whether you like nature settings or an urban feel, we’ll find the perfect spot for you.

When and how can I schedule?
Use the contact form via this page to send me an email and we’ll arrange your date and time.  After you book your session, we will also have a pre-session consultation (which takes place via email) to discuss final locations, ideas for the session and I can answer any additional questions you may have.

The session fee is due at the time of booking.

What can I expect during my session?
It is so hard to describe the feel of a session. Sometimes extra time is spent making sure little ones feel comfortable. Other times, we’re playing and having loads of fun right out of the gate. I adjust to your family and your children. One thing is for sure:  we have fun!

Sessions feel relaxed. We move at a comfortable pace. My clients have said that they’re surprised by how easy it feels.  That makes me happy.

I often say that it shouldn’t feel stiff or fake but rather, “that time we all hung out.”  We stroll and talk and I document special moments. We laugh a lot too!

What if I need to reschedule?
No problem. If you or your children are sick, I’m happy to talk about rescheduling your session. If the weather is an issue, we can also talk about finding an alternative date. There is no fee for rescheduling a session.

What should I wear?
Always a top concern for clients. No worries! My response is always the same: coordinate, but don’t stress. Solid colors are great, and patterns work well too. If you find yourself worrying, I’m happy to help! Many of my clients seek out my advice or guidance on clothing for the shoot. We can talk as much or as little as you like about attire. Be comfortable. Most of all: be YOU.

The shoot is over, now what?
Processing time varies, but when your gallery is done you’ll receive a link to your on-line album of final images for you to digitally download (click, save to your computer, you’re all set!). Generally speaking, galleries are delivered in about two weeks (a little longer during the busy season or if there is additional editing needed).

How do I get prints of my images?
Printing rights are included and you can print the pictures you want and in the sizes you want.  Photo canvases, albums, enlarged prints are all available through some fantastic vendors.  I highly recommend Nations Photo Lab.
